Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our expanding clinical team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient-centred care, managing complex medical conditions, and contributing to our collaborative care model alongside family physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized internal medicine consultations and follow-up care
  • Manage complex and chronic medical conditions across adult populations
  • Support primary care teams by offering diagnostic insight and specialist guidance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members (nurses, specialists, allied health) to coordinate patient care
  • Interpret diagnostic results and create evidence-based management plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR – Med Access)
  • Participate in periodic clinical meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
  • Fellowship training and certification in Internal Medicine (FRCPC or equivalent)
  • CMPA membership in good standing
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in outpatient internal medicine or consultation settings preferred
